Domestic Couple for Belgium (Wallonia) wanted

An experienced, reliable and capable domestic couple (m/f/d) is sought for a two-person private household in Belgium (Wallonia). Both persons should be proficient in English and French. and must be able to provide verifiable professional experience from an equivalent position. The family is looking for a couple who can independently manage and maintain a larger private household of approximately 800 m² of living space. They will be supported by a gardener, a housekeeper, a window cleaner and additional staff. The couple is responsible for the entire running of the villa, managing and carrying out the day-to-day operations and taking care of all matters relating to the household, including the hosting and catering of the household. One person will be primarily responsible for cleanliness, wardrobe and laundry care, care of the household inventory, shopping, food preparation, etc. The second person will be responsible for minor repairs, supervising external tradespeople, overseeing the building services and technical systems including the swimming pool, supporting their partner as required, etc. A staff apartment (partially furnished, but which can also be fully furnished) is available outside the property and must be occupied by the couple. Both persons should hold a valid driving licence and, as already mentioned, both should be bilingual in English and French. The family has additional residences in Austria and Switzerland, where staff are already employed, so travelling with the family is not required. The current couple is retiring after 24 years, and their successors are now being sought. The position is available by agreement, but no later than January 1, 2027, and offers an exceptionally attractive salary, well above the usual market level.
